NITZ SCHENIDER S/S 2013 Tokyo Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Collection
You are very likely to think that a brand that goes by the name of “Nitz Schenider” would find its origins somewhere in downtown Munich, but it is in fact a Harajuku-based label from Tokyo! The designer, Prince.S.Kuga, Tokyo Mode School class 1999 graduate, decided to incorporate street and sport element mix into his spring/summer 2013 collection. For men, shorts and blazer combinations were the most popular on the runway. As for the ladies, a cool grunge/sporty-chic mood was evident through camouflage jackets and vests, loose cut t-shirts worn over dresses and paired with New-Era Caps. The inspiration from street-wear could also be seen in women’s shoes, which resembled high-heeled Converse sneakers.
